Thinking about becoming a founder? I wish that I had a list of high value podcasts to tune in to when I started out, so here's what I've got for you so far. You can find most of these "wherever you get your podcasts" 😛

The first couple here could maybe be framed as highlighting an investors point of view, which tends to actually be super useful for founders to tune in to, because investors tend to have their eyes scanning the horizon.

- The All-in podcast -

The 4 panelists deliver some potent analysis of current events from an investor standpoint. Since I started listening, two of the four are back in the CEO seat at companies and so it does mix it up in a good way. Fair warning: they can be really distasteful sometimes and I recommend taking liberties to skip entire sections, but there have also been some full laugh-out-loud moments for me listening.

All-In with Chamath, Jason, Sacks & Friedberg
Industry veterans, degenerate gamblers & besties Chamath Palihapitiya & Jason Calacanis cover all things economic, tech, political, social & poker.

- Acquired -

Since my friend put me on to this one recently, I've been enjoying putting it on for low-key long form deeply researched content, with a sense of history. What makes a company stick around for centuries? They will take their sweet time digging in. They have also interviewed some huge founders, but I haven't listened to those yet.

Acquired Podcast
Every company has a story. Acquired goes behind the scenes of the biggest tech IPOs and acquisitions of all time. Hosted by Ben Gilbert and David Rosenthal.

- BG2 -

People are saying this podcast by reputable venture capital investors Brad Gerstner and Bill Gurley is kind of like what All-in pod was in its earlier days. Markets, venture, and technology. I find their (frequent) discussions about the supply/demand dynamics for AI training 'compute' quite interesting to follow.

- Equity - by Techcrunch

I have mixed feelings about sharing this one, because sometimes I can't listen to it because I find his style of speaking difficult. However, content-wise it actually is stuff that I'd like to be tracking and paying attention to, in terms of technology, startups, and venture capital.

- How I Built This -

This NPR pod has been going strong, it's good for longer term stories from folks who've gone the distance. I particularly enjoyed the episode with the Stripe co-founders.

How I Built This
A podcast about innovators, entrepreneurs, idealists and their stories about the movements they built.

- How To Raise A Round -

This pod seems to have fizzled out, but I still learned some useful things about fundraising by listening to founders talk about their fundraising experiences.
