Founder Stories: Ben Hilborn's path to pre-seed

Introducing Ben Hilborn, a Victoria based entrepreneur that I met this year. It's been really fun getting to know him better, and now he's on the fundraising journey, and sharing it out loud. For those not familiar with the lingo: "pre-seed round" is a type of fundraising round that usually occurs while a company is "pre-product" meaning it is mostly an idea and a plan, or else the company can have an early product and early "traction" meaning first paying customers.
Ben is looking to solve a problem that exists in people's homes, of excess energy usage, and higher cost energy bills, by tapping in to adding a layer of intelligence over the electricity grid. Check out Ben's story in his own words!
